Another album recorded mainly in France, Imagine This was put together initially by Dany alone, who decided, on his return to the UK, that the tracks were a little sparce, and so called in the considerable skills of Gerry Power on drums, and John Owen on keyboards, to supply more textural interest. The result is an interesting mix of songs that range from the folky to the rocky, the jokey to the jazzy — all featuring Dany’s particular way with the wordies. Check out the contrast between, for example, Sensitive Soul, Till The Money Runs Out and Memories, Dreams & Reflections. Tracks 4 & 12 were written as a tribute to Kimo Hopuare.
