Recorded around 2002 in various rooms in Berkshire and Dorset, Faraway Friend features the then Irony line-up of: Dany Hearn on acoustic rhythm guitar & vocals, Martin Grey on sax, Steve Sculpher on bass, Steve Jones on keyboards, Paul Dinnage on drums and Ben Jolley on djembe. Contributions also by Steve Hovery (acoustic lead guitar on 7 and rhythm on 8) and Nick Tillyer (electric lead & rhythm on 3). Another favourite for car trips. All songs by Dany.
